Vancouver Sun "Turkish Canadians plan Vancouver protest against 'brutal force' used in Turkey" JUNE 2, 2013

Feza Sanigok spent the weekend at his East Vancouver home glued to Facebook, following over 500 friends from his hometown of Istanbul as they posted photos and rapid-fire missives on the latest violent clashes between protesters and police. 

"As soon as we heard about the initial attack of the police to the peaceful demonstrators in the public park... it's amazing how things just escalated," Sanigok said. "It's very sad to see brothers beating up brothers like that."
