'Istanbul, you’re not alone'
OTTAWA — More than 100 protestors congregated on Parliament Hill Sunday in solidarity with protestors in Turkey who were attacked by police last week after launching a campaign to save a park in Istanbul.

Peaceful protests began in Istanbul’s Gezi Park May 27 to deter the country’s reigning political party, the AK Party, from tearing down the park in favour of a shopping mall.
